Okay….next topic.  We all know most major tracks get tons of remixes these days — especially tracks that are kinda chill to begin with.  With so many remixes available, this gives us lots of options in terms of energy.  We usually end up with everything from super duper over excessive dutch remixes LIKE THIS (well maybe that was extreme) to nice chill progressive house mixes perfect for the end of the night, and lots in between.   So that leads us to this question….

Katy Perry’s newest single has been getting decent radio play and is a favorite for the ladies. Luckily Skeet Skeet made this house remix for us DJ’s!

Our friend DJ Kontrol is on his remix grind (what else is new)….and it seems like all the work he does with The King of Crunk Lil Jon must have rubbed off on him as he was thinking how to mash up the Gotye tune.   BOOM!  He chopped up the Weezy instrumental and sequenced the Gotye acapella over it so you now have the option of playing it while in the 70 BPM range!  (P.S. Episode 268 - Somebody That I Used To Know (Playlist) Play Now

This is one of the many Jackson 5 classics and may be considered the 2nd most popular track behind “I Want You Back.” That said, there have been very few playable remixes of ABC in the last few years, so A. Skillz remix is much needed. He adds just enough electro flavor to give this track edge in the club, but not so much that you can’t work this in at a wedding. This track has great versatility.
