“Let Me Clear My Throat” is possibly the best club crowd participation song of all time. Dj Kool used the 45 King’s “900 Number” break to create a high energy background for his 1 hit. This track is another one that just works. This is how we use it in our sets.

Steve1der put out “Hollywood Schwing” and that is always a good high bpm banger and also shows that you can segway from Clear My Throat into the intro to “Hollywood Swinging” by Kool & The Gang or the intro to “Feels So Good” by Mase. Or sometimes I’ll loop the lyric “Let Me Clear My Throat, cough, cough” from “Stayin Alive” by The Refugee All-Stars and about the third loop when the cough cough is supposed to hit I’ll just drop the “cough cough” part (right before first rap verse) of “Let Me Clear My Throat.” Just sayin
